In the beginning.
So it all started in the early 90s with DIY homebrew kites inspired by the popular kites of the moment. This resulted in me working for the Drachen Magazin in Hamburg Germany. My work as a correspondent led to meeting a lot of kite builders and flyers. These awesome people inspired me to take it a bit more seriously. And so it went from DIY to a professional member of the HQ Invento team.
Today
I challenge myself by building open-source kites.
With no room for compromise on the details and quality.
I experiment with combinations of design aspects from other kites to combine them in a new kite design. Quadline and Dualine kites.
On special request, I build kites for other pilots who want something tailormade.
